In July, trade volume between China and Russia dropped by 17% compared with the same period last year and amounted to USD5.673 billion, the Chinese General Administration of Customs said in a reports on Monday, reports RIA Novosti.

According to the report, in July, China’s exports to Russia amounted to USD3.3 billion, while imports from Russia were USD2.3 billion. At the same month last year, the trade volume between China and Russia reached USD6.64 billion.

According to Chinese Customs, in January-July the trade total volume reached USD37.4 billion which is 0.9% less than the same period last year.

At the same time, in the first seven months of the year, China’s exports to Russia grew by 7.7%, while imports from Russia fell by 8.8%.

Last year, trade volume between China and Russia has decreased by 28,6% and amounted to USD68.06 billion dollars.
