Crimea will have its own airline, the deputy chairman of the State Duma for Transport Mikhail Boryachak said on FM radio station Sputnik v Krymu, reports RIA Novosti.
According to the MP, the flights will be carried out by passenger aircraft Tu-154. According to him the matter has already been coordinated with the head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov and the Federal Air Transport Agency has also approved the plan.
“I think that it is necessary to create an airline of Crimea. It might happen later this year. There are several bureaucratic difficulties currently hinder this initiative, but I am sure that we will soon overcome them,” said Mr. Bryachak.
