Medvedev: the state will allocate 100 bln rubles for Kerch-Sevastopol highway

Russian government intends to allocate over 100 billion rubles for the construction of the so called Tavrida highway which is supposed to connect Kerch Strait Bridge (currently under construction) with Sevastopol. That was announced by the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev at a meeting dedicated to the road constructions in Crimea.

He also said that the constructions will last until 2020 and that price adjustments are not foreseen.

During the meeting, Mr Medvedev also said that this year the state will provide 8,5 bln rubles for the reconstruction of existing roads in the Peninsula. What’s more, the government will provide “additional 4,5 bln rubles for the Republic of Crimea and 500 mln for Sevastopol”.
