Traffic volumes at the airports of the Moscow aviation hub in the first half of 2016 decreased by 5,1% compared to the same period of 2015 reaching 33,5 million passengers, reports the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) of Russia.
According to the agency, in January-June 2016, the number of passengers for international flights decreased by 13,3% up to 13 million people while for domestic flights grew by 5,6% to 18,6 million people.
In June 2016, traffic volumes at the airports of the Moscow aviation hub decreased by 8,5% compared to the same period of 2015 to 7,1 million people. The number of passengers for international flights during this period fell by 10.8% to 2,7 million people, while for domestic flights the number fell by 0.6% (3,8 million).
