Russian’s biggest air carrier Aeroflot starting from January 26 lowers its euro prices for outbound flights by 10%, reports gazeta.ru citing the company’s press release.
The reduction will apply to all flights provided by Aeroflot and their subsidiary companies from locations in Russia to destinations abroad.
In the press release it is said that lower prices will be available on all advertised international flights, with the exception of promotional deals, flights direction to CIS countries and routes that are operated by the Aurora air company, which is part of the Aeroflot group.
“A significant reduction in prices for the aforementioned routes was made in December 2015. It is not applied to tariffs that provide passengers with a transfer to foreign airports with rival airlines,” Aeroflot announced.
The company stressed that the price reductions were implemented to compensate for the increased costs of international air travel in connection with the weakening ruble.
