The Day of Wine will be launched September 9 at 9 am and will allow internet users to buy bottles at discounted prices. The idea is to sell more Italian wines in China. Right now, 6% of wine sold in China are Italian, the aim is to increase this number to 60%.

The rise of China’s middle class which grow some 5-7% annually have allowed many consumers to afford foreign made alcoholic beverages. Now it is about 300 million people and in a short time it will reach half a billion people.
