Carlo Benetton, 74, is dead, the youngest of the four brothers. With Luciano, Giuliana, and Gilberto founded in 1965 the clothing group, which later became famous all over the world.
The Maccarese spa consists of 3,200 flat hectares and for its size is placed first in Italy. The crops practiced on the farm are: arable crops, fodder and vegetables.
Inside it has the largest national dairy cows, with a herd of 3,300 items present. The barn produces 42,000 liters of milk a day, satisfying about 10% of the daily consumption of the Romans.
