A construction of an intermodal transportation for so called Aeroexpress trains in St. Petersburg will be launched in July 2018. The new air rail link will connect Vitebsk Station with Pulkovo airport.

Construction of a railway for Aeroexpress has been discussed for several years in St. Petersburg. Currently, local authorities are near to complete the preparations of main documentation for the project. “The constructions shall start right after the FIFA 2018, in July 2018,” cites FlashNord Mr Albin as saying.
