On Friday, March 23rd, the first sessions of the Chamber and Senate were held. Today the registration procedures of the new parliamentarians. The first to set up will be the parliamentary groups with the election of their respective presidents. After the appointment of the presidents of the two branches of the Parliament, the Prime Minister, Paolo Gentiloni, will rise to the Quirinale to resign in the hands of the Head of State, which should invite him to remain in charge for the handling of current affairs. Once the House is installed, next Friday, in the inaugural session, the deputies will be able to occupy any place within the Chamber.

Within two days, they will have to declare to which Group they belong and in the following two days the Groups will be called up for the election of the governing bodies, starting from the president. The procedure in the Senate is similar, but with different times. All procedures for the establishment of parliamentary chambers and groups should end around on Easter Sunday, the first of April.

From the following week, I can start the consultations of the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, to understand if and how it will be possible to create a majority able to express and support a government.
