EU plans to discuss future of the economic sanctions against Russia in June, EU foreign affairs chief Federica Mogherini told reporters on Monday, reports RIA Novosti.

“Russia is on our agenda list, we haven’t discussed relations with Moscow for over a year. Though, we are not going to speak on this today, as sanctions on individuals have been extended a few days ago. We will come back to this later at the summer meeting of the Council of Europe,” she told journalists before EU foreign ministers meeting on Monday.

Currently there are three packages of sanctions against Russia. They concern individual sanctions against Russian and Ukrainian officials and organizations (extended to September 15, 2016) and restrictive measures – so-called economic sanctions – against Russia until July, 31 and against Crimea – till June, 23.
