H-Farm bought 36.5% stake in DesignWine Srl, a company owned by VeronaFiere and that manages Vinitaly Wine Club and mobile application Vino, refers the press service of VeronaFiere.

The goal of this deal was to contribute experience and  knowledge of H-Farm Innovation platform and Veronafiere  in development of the project of Vinitaly Wine Club, which aims to promote and increase sale of Italian wines online.

According to the head of Veronafiere Maurizio Danese, the idea is to increase innovation “to be more competitive and together with H-Farm, leading company in the sector, we will make an important step forward into e-commerce”.

Over the last years, Vinitaly Wine Club has gained experience in online sale of Italian wines and contributed into quality and  innovation of online services.

“Italian wine sector has enormous potential and it is one of Italian’s excellence. It brings great opportunities to the sector,” CEO of H-Farm Riccardo Donadon said. “We are grateful to start working with Veronafiere that together with Vinitaly over years dedicated to this sector,” he said.

The board of directors of Design Wine includes Alessandro Olivieri (the chairman), Timothy O’Connell, Barbara Blasevich, Stevie Kim and Gianni Bruno. The company’s auditor is Luciano Giarola.

H-Farm is an innovative platform set up in 2005 and listed in stock exchange Aim Italia. It is ready to support Italian companies in creation of new business models with orientation on e-commerce.
