Inflation in the Eurozone rose to 2.2% in October, from 2.1% recorded in September. A year ago it was 1.4%. Eurostat communicates this. It is energy that has had the strongest impact (+1.02%), followed by services (+ 0.65%) and food, alcohol and tobacco (+0.42%). The lowest rates were recorded in Denmark (0.7%), Portugal (0.8%) and Ireland (1.1%). The highest in Estonia (4.5%), Romania (4.2%) and Hungary (3.9%). Compared to September 2018, annual inflation fell in eight member states, remained stable in 5 and increased in the other 14.
