FIFA has closed the second phase of ticket sales and England is no longer among the countries with the most tickets purchased during the second round of open box office. The marketing of tickets for the tournament that will start on June 14th has been carried out in stages: in total, from September 2017 to today, 1,698,049 have been purchased. The tickets were won by the fans who opted for their tickets online and those who went, physically or otherwise, at the box office.

Among the latter, 568,448 tickets were sold in the first tranche (deadline 28 November 2017) and 394,433 in second (open on March 13 and closed on 3 April 2018).
