Tickets for the 2017 FIFA Confederations in Russia for all matches including the final and the opening game have gone on sale Nov. 8 via the Visa Pre-Sale at the FIFA web page, reports TASS citing the FIFA statement.
“The inventory on FIFA.com features tickets for all matches, including the final and the opening game, as well as the fixtures involving the Russian national team. Series of tickets for matches in each of the four Host Cities – Kazan, Moscow, Sochi and Saint Petersburg – will also go on sale,” the statement reads.
The pre-sale phase will run until Nov. 17 providing for sales only Visa card holders. The price of group-stage tickets start from 960 rubles (USD15) in fourth category (only for Russian residents) and from USD70 in third category (all the fans).
The Official Draw for the FIFA Confederations Cup will take place in Russian city of Kazan on Nov. 26, FIFA said.
The first general sales phase will kick start on Dec. 1, 2016, via the same FIFA web page and is supposed to run until Jan. 19, 2017. During this and subsequent sales phases, several payment methods are to be accepted.
The FIFA Confederations Cup is for the first time to be held in Russia from June 17 and July 2, 2017. Currently, among qualified teams are: Russia (as a host country), Germany (2014 FIFA World Cup winner), Australia (AFC Asian Cup winner), Chile (Copa América winner), Mexico (CONCACAF Gold Cup winner), New Zealand (OFC Nations Cup winner) and Portugal (UEFA EURO winner).
