German Business Stands For Lifting Sanctions Against Russia

Anton Kobyakov, the Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation has held a meeting in Moscow with the Director General of the German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses , Markus Jerger. The parties reviewed the current cooperation issues and considered the potential for further partnership during the forthcoming St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Representatives of German business, members of the Association, will participate in the SPIEF, and a Russia – Germany Business Dialogue session will be organized.

For this very reason at the signature international economic event in St. Petersburg is scheduled hold a series of meetings with the participation of German entrepreneurs and industry experts.

The Roscongress Foundation and the Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses  intend to sign an agreement :the parties are set to develop cooperation along the lines of technological exchange between Russia and Germany, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises that start import at each other’s markets, as well as attracting German investments to Russian small and medium-sized business.

Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (BVMW) consolidates seven hundred thousand companies with more than 14 million employees and has more than 300 offices in Germany and 40 representative offices around the world. The aggregate GDP of the member companies is over 900 billion US dollars.
