Greenhouses to be built in Irkutsk region

The construction activities will be launched this year and are scheduled to be completed in two years

The Corporation of the Irkutsk Region’s Development will invest 100 million rubles (more than $1,7 million) in construction of greenhouses and vegetable storehouse in this region of Russia.
As TASS news agency reports on Tuesday, the funds will be allocated to the modernization of Iskra greenhouse complex, which will cost 100 million rubles.

The first phase includes the building of winter greenhouses, and then, a vegetable storehouse, where storage, processing, shipment of products in the volume of up to 10,000 tons of potatoes and 7,500 tons of other vegetables is envisaged.

The construction activities will be launched this year and are scheduled to be completed in two years. After a pilot project is implemented, a number of similar projects are also planned to be realized in other regions of the Russian Federation.
