Link Campus University and M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University signed an agreement enhancing scientific and academic cooperation, implementing exchange programmes and promoting cultural activities between the two universities, as well as between the two countries – Italy and Russia.
The agreement provides for the establishment of the Center for Science and Education Lomonosov based in Rome at the Link Campus University head office at Casale di San Pio V and supervised by one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Russia, Lomonosov Moscow State University (ranked 108th in World University Ranking and 1st in Emerging Europe and Central Asia).
The parties agreed to open a new Rome-based Lomonosov Center in 2017. Therefore, within one year, Rome will get another international campus of great importance.
Among other activities listed in the agreement are: cooperation via joint research projects, conferences and seminars; support the participation of postgraduates and researchers in joint research programmes; implementation of education exchange programmes, including distance education; implementation of dual degree programmes; promotion of cultural activities in higher education institutions of Russia and Italy.
