The Italian Minister of European Affairs, Paolo Savona, is investigated by the Campobasso Public Prosecutor along with 22 other directors, bankers and managers of Unicredit. The survey covers the period 2005-2013; the magistracy disputes the crime of bank usury in the financing of wind farms in Molise. Together with Savona, the managing director of Leonardo-Finmeccanica Alessandro Profumo, the managing director of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Fabio Gallia, is investigated. It is not known when the registration of Savona in the register of suspects dates back: whether before or after his oath as a minister.
