Russian state corporation Rostec is getting ready to substitute foreign software with domestic product MyOffice. The company’s IT-center RT-Inform is launching a pilot project in these days to test the new suite of programs.

IT-centre (Rostec) signed a partnership agreement with the Russian developer of the MyOffice – the company New Cloud Technologies, a firm which is focused on the creation of “complex cloud solutions for online mass storage and document processing.” According to the document, RT-Inform will test the applications MyOffice Text, MyOffice Table and MyOffice Presentation. After, it may recommend the use of the New Cloud Technologies software products for the enterprises of Rostec.

RT-Inform works in the field of ‘importsubstitution’ programme, aiming to reduce risks associated with sanctions and the use of foreign software used in the enterprises of Rostec. According to the General Director of RT-Inform Camille Gazizov, the company is substantially working to ensure information security, data integrity, as well as to reduce costs associated with purchase of expensive foreign license.

RT-Inform LL 100% belongs to Rostec Corporation and manages purchase of all necessary IT equipment for Rostec.
