Putin begins his fourth presidential term. The ceremony began with the solemn introduction of the state flag of Russia, the president’s speech, his oath on the Constitution in the Andreevsky hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.

In accordance with article 82 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, in the presence of members of the Federation Council, deputies of the State Duma and Judges of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin has sworn and accepted the new role of President of the Federation Russian.

At the end of the inauguration ceremony, on the Square of the Cathedrals, Putin spoke briefly with representatives of public youth associations and voluntary organizations. “It is important to support and, in general, establish continuity in the work and development of the country, include a clear pace of work in the next period, counting on your support, your sense of responsibility and your professionalism”.

Putin also presented Dmitry Medvedev a Russian premier to the state Duma.
