During the meeting of the Russian-Austrian intergovernmental Commission held in Moscow last week were signed 26 agreements on joined projects in different fields for total of 4 billion euro.

The Russian ambassador to Austria Dmitry Lyubinsky in the interview with RIA Novosti spoke positively on the outcomes of the meeting. “We believe this is a serious step forward despite difficulties in EU-Russia relations,” he said.

According to Mr Lyubinsky, join projects include economic, scientific, and financial cooperation, as well as concerns join work on the North Stream-2 project and railway route to Vienna. The document for join projects was first signed back in 2011 during the visit of Austrian President Heinz Fischer to Moscow.
