Walmart launches the challenge to Amazon and opens the ‘delivery war’. The distribution giant will offer home delivery of online ordered shopping. Walmart home shopping delivery service will be available for 40% of American households. Initially home delivery will cost $ 9.95 and will be available for a charge of at least $ 30. ”But the price will fall” assures the managing director Greg Foran.

Walmart’s move is part of the war with Amazon, which has sent the retail sector into crisis.

Walmart Stores Inc is a US multinational, owner of the retail chain of the same name Walmart, founded in 1962. Today it is the largest chain operating in the large-scale retail distribution channel.
