Wine2Wine renews itself for its fifth birthday

Veronafiere and Vinitaly present the new format and content for the international wine community
Wine2Wine, the business platform of Veronafiere-Vinitaly’s for professional updating and training for the world of wine, celebrates its fifth anniversary on next 26 and 27 November. There are several new features in the format designed for the approximately 1,500 professionals in the supply chain expected at the auditorium of the fair: quick seminars (30 minutes), questions and answers sessions (15 minutes), technical workshops ‘wine2winelab’, speed dating for b2b meetings and networking breaks.
About 60 meetings are planned and more than 100 national and international experts will attend the forum to contribute ideas and knowledge about wine. The wine sector of “Made in Italy” is in profit on the Italian balance of trade of about 5.5 billion euros per year. The main Italian entrepreneurs in the sector are expected to attend the event: Carlo Franchetti, Tim Banks (sales and marketing director of Ornellaia), Valentina Argiolas, Matteo Lunelli, Piero Mastroberardino, Ettore Nicoletto, Josè Rallo, Andrea Sartori, Alberto Tasca d’Almerita. But also people from the international wine hemisphere: the CEO of Krug Champagne and president of Lvmh Estates & Wines, Margareth Henriquez; the top Chinese influencer, Shenghan Whang (in art Lady Penguin); the global super-consultant and Master of Wine Lynne Sherriff; the expert of applied technologies in media and communication, as well as already country manager of Yahoo, Lorenzo Montagna and Marino Braccu general manager at Otto and Mezzo-Bombana in Hong Kong. Wine Spectator’s wine writer, Allison Napius, is also waiting to reveal the selection criteria of the world’s leading wine guide to producers.
Communication, innovation, marketing, promotion and analysis of buyer markets are the main focuses of the seminars planned by Vinitaly International for a renewed wine2wine, which is increasingly proposed as a professionalizing event for the supply chain and its business culture. The focus will be on China, the United States, Canada, Russia and the United Kingdom, with a focus on consumer trends and good practices in online and offline communication and promotion, as well as on digital stakeholders and communities. Also under the spotlight were issues related to wine and finance and e-commerce and the latest bilateral agreements, as well as new in-depth studies dedicated to the markets of the future, such as emerging countries in Africa, Eastern Europe, South America and new Asians, which on the wave of the Dragon are approaching wine with increasing determination.
