World Trilemma Index assigns triple A for sustainability to Italy.

 

The World Energy Council, through the World Trilemma Index, has assigned Italy a triple A for energy sustainability. The same Index lines the country in 35th place with regard to the price. The report, which analyzes the performance of the various countries on safety, equity and energy sustainability, will be one of the most important moments of the upcoming World Energy Week which will take place in Milan from 8 to 11 October. Ministers, academics and sector managers will arrive in the Lombardy capital with the aim of making the energy industry more sustainable and inclusive. The most awaited is the Russian energy minister Alexander Novak after the WEC committees of Italy and Russia signed a memorandum of intent in Moscow. At the appointment the first lines of the Italian energy companies with the ad of Snam, Eni, Terna, Single Buyer and Unicredit. According to the World Energy Trilemma Index, only eight of the 125 countries examined (including Italy) achieved the highest score for energy sustainability, while last year they were 13.
