The President Emeritus of Intesa Sanpaolo, Giovanni Bazoli and Michail Piotrovsky, Director General of the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg today signed a three-year collaboration agreement in the field of art and culture between the Galleries of Italy and the State Hermitage Museum. The collaboration will begin with a major exhibition dedicated to Piero della Francesca, from 7 December 2018 to 10 March 2019. At the same time, the Ermitage State Museum will collaborate with the cultural initiatives and exhibitions of Intesa Sanpaolo, both in terms of scientific contents and the temporary transfer of works of art. Prestigious works will be among the protagonists of some exhibitions promoted by Intesa Sanpaolo at their offices in Milan, Naples and Vicenza and at the Bank’s skyscraper in Turin. In addition to the great exhibition on Romanticism scheduled for autumn at the Gallerie di Piazza Scala (October 19, 2018 – March 10, 2019), the masterpiece Juan Bautista Maíno, Adoration of the Shepherds, will be exhibited for example at the Intesa Sanpaolo skyscraper in Turin from December 19 to January 6 2019. In Naples from 5 December to 7 April 2019, it will be possible to admire the masterpiece of Anton van Dyck, Apparition of Christ to the disciples.
